I AM BACK!

I'm back !
but well, its only for a few days..thx God!
better than nothing, right?!
i actually planned to come back on Qing Ming and then apply for a 3 days holidays so that i can get a week holiday,but its not allowed.Haiz..all my hopes dashed!
I pity those malays cause they don't have any holidays till the semester break in May.The chinese get Qing Ming,the Christians got this 4 days break for Good Friday and Easter and the Indians got the Indian New Year ( i really don't know that Indians also got New Year!seriously!!)
so..some of them was saying like "oh...how i wish i was a christian now.."hahahha. yeah. *)

the first week in Kem Setia Ikhlas,Semenyih was really really boring.We didn't do anything except waiting and waiting,eating and marchings.We wait for our uniforms.I tell you,wow! Malaysia government is really rich! they gave so many things! 22 things in all! class uniform,PE shirts, shoes,socks,towels,baju loreng (the blue army uniform) and many other things..)so throughout the whole week we just take these things.So its really boring and I really felt lonely.The chinese got their gengs..I was with them at the beginning but i couldn't communicate well with them..so I just left them and mix with the malays.
The first week was really a tough time for me. I felt homesick,I just don't know why coz I don't usually have this feeling when going for camps.I cried on the first day and then the second day.I asked God that he will continue to give me strength.And yes, things began to improve.I made friends from Sabah and Sarawak.Thx God for them for they are a bunch off friendly people.My camp only consist of Sabahan,Sarawakians and Selangors.But well, there are a division problem here,between the Semenanjungs and Sabah-Sarawaks.The Semenanjunng will mix with the Semenanjungs ,and the Sabahs & Srwk together.I choose to mix with the S&S ppl la..coz I really feel comfortable being with them.SO...throughout the camp, my BM and Chinese really improve..ahah..and English is very rarely spoken here.hahhaa...
Btw, let me give some informations about my camp.My trainers say that this camp is the best camp in S'gor and among the best in Malaysia.(ahem..).They even that diplomats from 30 countries came to visit the camp in the last batch...hahaha.If you have seen the advertisement on Khidmat Negara, its filmed in my camp too.So hows cool is that?! hahah..all boasting!! but well, Thx God for everything lo, that this camp isn't that bad..got a big lake here with big fishes, and at night you can see the starts so clearly! its so beautiful! This place is actually a forest but the trees were chopped off to build the camp,so its kinda 1/2 forest.The girls dorm is on top of the hill, while the boys' are down.So imagine we all girls have to climb up the hill everyday,passing the creepy trees to reach our dorms! our exhausted legs! but well, i realised that my stamina has improved alot..now,i can go up much easier..seriously..its like going up FRIM hill everyday!
The food here is not that bad.No flies here.Thx God! There are 6 meals a day.Don't say its a lot..coz when you go through the activities,our stomach goes growling every second and we all rushes for the food! seriously!hahha..The chicken here are quite nice,fishes..hmm..ok.but the veggies....eww! some are really over cooked or really raw! i ate the taugeh that day,and its raw.My friends here say that the veggies here is old already.hahah..whateverla.I just didn't eat their veggies..heheh. =)
Our daily routine is waking up at 5 am.(i never knew this time even existed!)..done everything then we clean the dorm a bit so that we don't get scolding from our trainer.After that we go down to the kawad field.The surrounding is really dark at this time,so we need to walk in groups..not alone!It takes 5 min -10 min to walk to the field.its really far! Then after everyone assemble, we will sing the Negaraku,Lagu Khidmat Negara,Ikrar ( i lead that day! coz no one in my company wanna do it!hahhaha) and then the Doa (for the muslims). Later on, we go for Character Building(CB) class.ITs really boring.Its like teaching us how to be human again and we all practically try to force our tired eyes to open throughout the 2-3 hours! its really a tiring process...btw, my teacher,a man is really boring.You hear his voice, you will automatically sleep! And another thing,he only has one upper teeth! seriously! hahahha..on the first day, he give us 1 minute to ask him anything.I wanted to ask him ''why he has only one teeth left?" but well,out of my 'respect' to him.,i didn't.hhahah.Its really funny to see him smile..hahahha.
Basically, there are 4 companies in every NS camp.Alpha,Bravo,Charlie and Delta.I am in Bravo.SO after every CB class, we have other class.I have learnt, First Aid,TTS ( somesort of self defence) and Navigation( we learnt about maps and compass). In every class we need to wear the blue army uniform with boots.It looks cool in it..but seriously...its so dang hot! and the boots are heavy! imagine having to march and run in it!!
Anyway,the trainers here are friendly and understanding and sometimes fierce!.The man trainers here are really dirty.They love to give dirty jokes...ish! :O
As I have said, I mix with mostly Sbh & Srwk ppl. I am especially close to this girl, Tatiza from Sabah. She's a Protestant and so..we grow close.And believe it or not, she can speak in tongues since kindergarten! how amazing! So we like to talk about our churches,bible la..all those things la.I thk we will be sent to ISA if ppl heard us...haha.And everytime we go up to our dorm,we need to pass through a bridge with lots of trees and its dark.,we will pray in tongues silently coz there are evil spirits everywhere.The malays will pray their thing loudly.So we felt uneasy so we pray lo.3 weeks here,there are so many unwanted things happening.There was one night when the Muslim had a special prayer to avoid from disturbance from the 'unseen'.One of my dorm mate, a muslim too, told me that they place gates here in this camp which is unseen,on ALLAH can see. Automatically, I knew that this is not right.On that same night, many girls got hysteria, including my squad leader.Its really a scary night....hahah..I prayed for God's kingdom to be build there,not the enemies' and His precious blood to cover us and I got SMS from MB that really encouraged me.I know that God I with me..so I am not moved.Ps. 91 and 121.
Thx God, there are many Christians here from different denominations.But there are many protestants too.So thx God again. Youth Alpha programme is done here too,every thurs and friday.I am a little bit dissappointed coz they didn't have praise and worship ( they say it will start next month..huh?!) but games only which is quite boring too coz the class is really big and so,not many will participate and its hard to handle so many trainees.The boys are naughty and love to shout a lot so its really noisy and messy. The group that came also insisted on speaking in BM though they are not fluent in it.(most of them are chinese) coz most of the trainees here are from Sabah and Srwk.We told them its ok to speak in English but they are afraid we can't understand...so..haiz.I am quite tired listening to BM here...Then at the end of the class, they will teach simple Christianity lesson.like who is Jesus,why did he die for us..and this la.
On Sunday,we go to Kajang AOG.Its like FGA too which speaks in tongues. But in BM..again! we couldn't go to the English service bcoz its late.haiz...but the BM service is ok..i can understand..i like the praise and worship.Its a total change of atmosphere.So its fine with me..but preaching in BM isn't that fun.I really wanna sleep that day,including the others coz we are all so tired and the speaker spoke about worship...so we all fell asleep except me and a few others.I felt so embarassed to be with these ppl who slept! so rude!hahah..and we had communion last week.The cup is miranda...so..its yummy.hahhah =)

NS is basically like that.Racial devisions is still clearly seen here.its always Muslims and non-Muslims.The muslims will eat the other end of the table and the non -m at the other end.so when will this gonna end? hopefully at the end of ns.hahahha
